I recently had the pleasure of photographing the incredible accommodations for this breathtaking new wedding venue in Hayesville, North Carolina—and let me just say, it’s a photographer’s dream.
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Windsong Willows offers couples a wedding experience deeply rooted in nature, with lush gardens, sparkling creeks, tranquil ponds, and panoramic mountain views that make every angle picture-perfect. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a full wedding celebration, this venue provides a magical backdrop that elevates every moment.
From the climate-controlled solarium with its floor-to-ceiling windows and cozy gas fireplace to the stunning open-air event space complete with a stacked-stone fireplace and views that stretch for miles, every detail has been designed with intention.
The Honeymoon Suite
The highlight of this shoot was photographing their glamping accommodations. The honeymoon suite, in particular, is nothing short of luxurious. Imagine waking up on your wedding morning in a beautifully appointed 320-square-foot glamping tent with a king bed, luxury linens, a heated mattress, and panoramic views of the mountains and immaculately manicured grounds. The suite also includes a Keurig, walk-in shower, bedside electrical outlets, private deck and deck chairs, and every modern comfort you'd want, making it an unforgettable space for both rest and romance.
Bridal Suite… soft, feminine and luxurious!
And let's not forget the beautifully styled bridal suite, complete with elegant tile, a chandelier, and a dedicated makeup and seating area. It's the perfect place for bridal prep photos, with just the right mix of natural beauty and polished sophistication.
The glamping tents are pure magic, especially those tucked along Shooting Creek. The sounds of rushing water and a canopy of stars make for an unforgettable overnight experience.
Each king and queen suite is a beautifully appointed 320-square-foot glamping tent with an additional 92 square feet of private deck space to relax and soak in the mountain air. These luxury tents feature Luxury Linens, a heated mattress for cool mountain nights, a Keurig Coffee Maker and microwave, an En-Suite Bathroom with Walk-In Shower, an Outdoor Fire Pit, Heating and air Conditioning, a Personal Safe, and bedside Electrical Outlets, plus an expansive deck with comfortable deck chairs for morning coffee and stargazing! You might never want to leave. As the photographer, I quite literally wanted to hang out and spend the night, have some s'mores and toast someone‘s new life together! LOL!
